Canyoningweek 10.05.08, 30.08.08
One week full of canyoning!
Due to an enormous demand for more of this gigantic sport,
we decided to invent to "canyoning only" weeks:
We get to know during our material and technique briefing on Saturday,
explore our first fascinating canyon on Sunday and exchange our
experiences during meal time.
The next days we visit four other canyons with rising difficulties
and adventures. You will get to know to huge rappels and will learn
a lot about the different characters - less or more water,
narrow or wide canyon, grey or red rock, jumping, sliding and rapelling.
The adventure canyoning will catch you for shure!
At the evenings we can talk more detailled about the different
techniques, so after that week you will be an advanced canyoneer.
Additionally we hike over the Ridge of Vernis.
Our Caynoningweek is also perfectly suitable for beginners!
Of course you can pass a second week with us at the Verdon and
reserve additional activities.

Climbing Week Beginner 17.05.08, 23.08.08
One week of climbing fun in real spectacular rock!
After first explanations on Saturday, we will start with a refreshment
of climbing and safety technics on sunday, to prepare you for the next days:
Let us take you to the most fascinating and most secret climbing spots
which the Verdon presents. Climb with us in toprope on sunny walls, try other
safety technics, observe other climbers, who move through madly difficult
routs and improve your own stile.
Depending on the group ability we might train on easier school walls,
climb lmulti pitch routes, or we might visit perfectly secured climbing gardens.
Learn about lead climbing and how to build up a relais!
To the most rocks we drive a few kilometers with our minibus, so we do not have
to walk too far!
We metat your disposal all the necessary climbing materials,
as well as climbing shoes, if you like, you can bring your
own materials, of course!
To get to know the huge walls of the Verdon Canyon in a different way,
we take you to the Canyon - Discover - Trip!
Of course you can pass a second week with us at the Verdon after your climbung week
and reserve additional activities.

Kletterwoche Verdon 07.06.07
Our aim is a 200 meters long wall in the Verdon Canyon,
previous experience necessary!
To take part in our Climbingweek Verdon, you should already have
experiences in safety- and climbingtechniques, as well as in lead climbing:
You should know the basics of lead climbing and be able to climb in the 6th
UIAA degree (UIAA is the graduation normally used in Germany).
Everything else, like building up relais and the tourplanning will
be explained to you during your holiday.
On your arrival day, we met in the evening, to get to know each other
and to check our equipment, on Sunday we climb first routes in a nearby
climbing garden, refresh our techniques and check our abilities of climbing.
Of course our main motivation is fun!
On the second climbing day, you learn how to build up a relais and how to
do abseiling along several length. This is used on some easier routes
immediatly. Additionaly we get to know the secrets of lead climbing.
On Wednesday we hike along the Ridge of Vernis, to get to know to the
environment in a different way.
The next day it gets a littel more thrilling, our new learned knowledge
are required on real rock: we climb our first multi pitch route on
the left riverside. These routes are partly in a very huge wall, which
makes them a perfect preperation for Friday.
Then its the big day, we drive to the Route des Cretes by car, to look
for a small and steep footpath, leading into the canyon within 45 minutes.
After a few meters through bushes, we are infont of the dream of every single
climber: the endless walls of the right canyon side! Two routes of 200 meters
each are waiting for us.
We climb up the canyon wall in two persons teams, always accompanied by
fantastic views of the Verdon, swallows are around us, and meter after meter
we climb back to the street. After about five hours it´s done,
we ambarass, yell down into the canyon and are proud of every single
climbed meter.
For those adventure we met all the necessary material at your disposal, but
you may bring your own equipment, too!
Of course you can reserve a second week after our Climbingweek Verdon
and
reserve additional activities.

Surprise highlight
In a lot of weeks, we offer a surprise activity for our guests.
Of course we do not reveal too much about it, during your
holiday you will be told more.
We might discover the Verdon in a special way, walk through a narrow
Canyon in the moonlight, travel the Canyon of Verdon completly within
two days or offer a combination of different highlights.

"Special Weeks"
For 2008 our programm contains much more activities then last year, from
now on we offer two different action packages, alternating weekly.
This page describes the activities of our "Special Weeks".
Your advantage: more choice and if you stay two weeks, the allaround
adventure!!
Important
Please bring a pair of baskets which are allowed to get whet during some
of our activities, e.g. canyoning.
A more detailled description of all the activities will be
given during our information evening on each saturday, or look at our
pictures page.
